We know how important staying active and eating well is to the health, wellbeing, and development of our children. These holiday programmes are designed to keep your kids active throughout the school holidays, introduce them to new and exciting activities, and create a fun-filled experience that will stick with them for years to come as well as provide them with free nutritious meals and snacks.
Thanet District Council’s Active Thanet Service is supporting a whole host of local organisations to deliver The Holiday Activity and Food Programme (HAF) across the District.
The Department for Education funding for HAF offers families of children aged 4 to 16, who are eligible for benefits related free school meals (FSM), free opportunities to access a range of activities in the Easter, summer, and Christmas holidays.
You can find out more about the programmes in your area on The Education People website.
