Local Plan Revisions Consultation

Residents in Thanet are invited to comment on the proposed revisions to the council’s Draft Local Plan.

The consultation ran from Friday 20 January – Friday 17 March (5pm), seeking views on specific revisions to the Draft Local Plan (preferred options), which included additional housing sites and the re-designation of the Manston airport site for mixed use development.

A series of public engagement sessions were held for residents to find out more on the propoed revisions to the Draft Local Plan.

Views were submitted online, and should have included evidence to support your comments, where possible. The council must consider all evidence submitted before preparing a draft Plan for Examination by an independent Planning Inspector.
